*All registration fees include 3-year memberships in the International Seaweed Association for students ($34 CAD) and non-students ($102 CAD). Membership includes online access to the Journal of Applied Phycology and Hydrobiologia. Proceedings of the ISS2025 will be published virtually through the Journal of Applied Phycology. 

Registration Cancellations
Registration cancellations are permitted until 23:59 Pacific Time on Monday, March 17, 2025. Delegates will receive a full refund less a $50 administrative fee for full Symposium cancellations and a $25 administrative fee for Single-Day and Guest cancellations. Cancellations must be submitted via email to the Secretariat ([email protected]). If payment was made by bank transfer or cheque, the email must include all the information and instructions required for the refund to be remitted. Delegates who cancel after the cancellation deadline are ineligible for a refund, however, transfer of registration is permitted until 23:59 Pacific Time on Friday, May 27, 2025. (This policy does not apply to complimentary registrations).

Transfer of Registration
Delegates wishing to transfer their registration to another person must submit their registration ID along with the name and contact details of their replacement via email to the Secretariat ([email protected]) no later than 23:59 Pacific Time on Friday, May 27, 2025. (This policy does not apply to complimentary registrations). An administration fee of $20 will be charged for every name change to an existing Symposium registration.

Tours
Delegates planning to join any of the tours will be required to complete a waiver. Cancellations to tours are permitted up to 30 days prior to the day of the tour for a full refund less $50 administrative fee. Cancellations after that point are non-refundable.
